Last night we had dinner with rosequoll at the Three Monkeys. The coffee and food was brilliant as always. In fact, it's really got me in the mood for a coffee right now, so after this entry, I'm hitting the cafe next door. YUM! After foods we wandered down to the river with Rose, sat on one of the low landings and chatted while passing Rivercats set us swaying on little waves. Rose is always fun to talk to; she tells great stories complete with wild gestural re-enactments of her finer moments, such as the day she discovered (due to a Florida upbringing) that her body literally didn't know how to remain standing on a 45 degree slope. Her description of her first time skiing probably should have put me off the idea, but now I want to do it more than ever!
At work, my game is coming along really well - I made a style breakthrough yesterday (this game is in a different style to the painterly stuff I've been doing to date) and I think I've nailed exactly what management is after. Woohoo!
I'm really, really looking forward to night-time outdoor LASER TAG this weekend with Rosa & co (Rosa is not to be confused with Rose) and, further in the future, a cocktails day with everyone from work. I love my coworkers so much - they are friends more than coworkers now, and have been for a long time.
Did anyone else hear the news that the RBA is tipped to cut interest rates in HALF by March?
