This made my morning:

Feeling a little chilled after that one? Have another:

In other news I've walked 36km in since Monday. It would've been 42 but my knee was playing up yesterday afternoon so Joey and I opted for the bus, so I only walked about a kilometer from Taringa to Indooroopilly. By the end of the week I'll have hit roughly 50km, hurrah!

I'm not weighing myself, by the way... I stopped doing that a long time ago. I'm judging my success by how quickly I can make the trip to work (already got it under an hour now that I'm mixing things up a bit with some jogging along the way) and how loose my various pairs of pants become.

They're looser since Monday.

Sentences that flag themselves when quickly scrolling through pages "They're looser since Monday" rates pretty high on this list.

Other than that I welcome our giant molten planet destroying overlords

I watched that first one and thought of how vulnerable life on this planet is and was filled with a kind of deep love and tenderness for the world and for all living things.

Then I watched the second one and spewed coca-cola out of my nose.

Interesting simulations; we've no way of even tracking such and object 'til it's too late and no way to divert or destroy it if we did. I'd love to see us develop the deep space capability to track such a rock and the means, probably based in prime GEO 'real estate" to generate a divert/sestroy mission or two should it become necessary. I'd argue that this is something the whole world should be part of.
